So why Driving Instruction?
If you were to ask a number of driving instructors what they liked about their chosen profession their answers would all be very similar …
These benefits will no doubt seem appealing and are all within your reach. So if you have the commitment and dedication to pursue them, then train to join the driver training profession. It is constantly expanding to open new opportunities for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals and you could be one of them.

Part 1 – Theory and Hazard Perception – a multiple choice section and a video based hazard perception section
Part 2 – Driving Ability – consists of an eyesight test followed by a practical test of driving technique

The time taken to fully qualify will depend on the time you have available to study and practice. Once you pass your Part 1 and Part 2 exams you have the option of instructing for six months on a ‘Trainee Licence’, part supervised by your trainer, or undergo a further 20 hours training. This enables you to gain valuable practical experience before your Part 3 Test of Instructional Ability.
