So what will the examiner be looking for on the DIAmond Special Test?
Quite simply the 'perfect drive' in total safety.
Everything you do from the time you enter the car is tested. Your deportment at the wheel, the way you meet and treat other road users, the way you look at and read the road ahead and the way you then plan your driving accordingly. Candidates are examined on all the exercises, including a reverse park behind another vehicle to within one and a half cars lengths as oppose to two cars lengths as on the normal 'L' test. A short commentary drive is also expected to help the examiner assess your hazard recognition skills.
We would start the course with an assessment lesson to gauge how many hours driving tuition you would be likely to need to reach the required standard. Contact Bowker Driving Tuition for further information.
