If you have driven before your first driving lesson would be on an assessment basis with discussion afterwards. If you have not driven for a while - or not at all it would consist of theory and practical instruction on quiet un-congested roads. You don’t have to worry about starting off from a busy area before you are ready.
During your driving lessons- You will periodically receive home study sheets to make up a study pack, which are used as an effective 'back up' aimed to reinforce the 1 to 1 tuition in the car. Your instructor will fully explain the format of both the Theory/Hazard Perception Test and the Practical Test and make sure you are aware of what is required to be successful in both cases.
